Curbelo: “We must send a united message against Assad’s brutality”
share: f t

Following the President’s announcement last night regarding a U.S. airstrike on Syria responding to Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons attack against innocent Syrian civilians, Representatives Carlos Curbelo (FL-26) took to Twitter to express his support for the President’s action and his condemnation for Assad’s treatment of his people, and called on Congress to swiftly consider an Authorized Use of Military Force for Syria that would send a united message that America will not tolerate Assad’s brutality any longer.

Curbelo has called for decisive action in Syria since 2013. Curbelo recently met with Syria refugees in his Miami district office to hear their stories of fleeing Assad’s brutality.
