PHOTO RELEASE: Curbelo Meets With Ivanka Trump to Discuss Pro-Family Tax Reform
Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Carlos Curbelo (FL-26), South Florida’s only Member of Congress on the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee, met with Ivanka Trump to discuss pro-family tax reform, including the Child Tax Credit.
Curbelo has been a strong supporter of expanding the Child Tax Credit. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, currently under consideration by the Ways and Means Committee, would grow the Child Tax Credit from $1000 to $1600 per child. The bill also includes another family tax credit that would give families access to an additional family credit up to $600 for non-child dependents like elderly parents or college students.
